If you received this orchid at the Sculpture Fields Gala, welcome! We’re so glad it found its way to you.
Orchids are often thought of as delicate, but they’re actually quite resilient. With just a little attention and the right placement, they can thrive in your home and bring beauty for weeks to come.
Light
Bright, indirect light near a window – more light the better.
Water
Water about once a week, allowing roots to dry slightly between. Remove the plastic orchid container and place in in the sink and water thoroughly allowing all excess water to drain. Aerial roots can be misted or dipped in water until the roots appear light green and are no longer a silvery color between container waterings.
Temperature
Comfortable indoor temps are perfect. Consistency is key.

Overall Health
Blooms can and will die off. This is a natural orchid cycle. Healthy indicators for your orchid include vibrant green leaves, green aerial roots, plump container roots.
And, of course, if you have questions, just send them our way.
